I'm a 32 year old, widowed mother of 2 boys. Tyler, 11yrs and Jacob, 6yrs. I was born and raised right here in Cobourg, Ontario.

After bar tending for many years, I went back to school at Trillium College and graduated, with honors, as a Personal Support Worker. Although I was fairly good at it, personal support work just wasn't for me.

I began to consider starting my own cleaning business. I had cleaned for a popular local inn, many years ago, and had enjoyed it, but the thought of starting my own business was scary!

I decided to go back to work as a bartender for a while, and in the meantime, a casual conversation with a friend who happened to work for a cleaning company, turned into her boss phoning me later that day and giving me a full-time position.

Within a year, I was her assistant. I enjoyed my job there, but, I felt I could be doing more. The thought creeped back into my head about starting my own cleaning business. For months, the thought would bounce around in my brain, and I would push it away, carrying on with my day to day routine.

Then one day, it just dawned on me. If I didn't do it now, I never would. The only thing stopping me was fear of the unknown. Would I succeed? Or would I fail? If I didn't try, I would never know!
